As part of my role as Student Body President, it was my job to organize and implement the homecoming activities our senior year.
I was chosen to attend the National Youth Leadership Forum for Law as a senior, where we got the opportunity to meet with Senators, listen to incredible guest speakers, and visit the U.S. Supreme Court (pictured here).
As the North Carolina FCCLA President, I was responsible for organizing, implementing, and speaking at many events across the state. Here, I am addressing the 2500+ 2010 Regional Conference attendees in Charlotte, NC.

I was chosen as a Coca-Cola Regional Scholar in 2011. We were presented to executives and investors at Coke Headquarters in Atlanta, GA.
I attended monthly meetings with other Wake County Student Body Presidents and VPs where we strategized on how to effectively serve our schools.
Part of our weekend in Atlanta as Coca-Cola scholars included community service! We painted rain barrels that were auctioned off; the money went to one of Coca-Cola’s fundraising initiatives to save water and recycle..
I coached cheerleading for the Wake Forest Titans for 3 years in high school. The girls I coached ranged from ages 5-10.
Speaking at public events became second-nature after serving as NC FCCLA State President.
